In Wonderland
“Drink Me.” Bottles
line my dresser,
litter my vanity,
and collect dust,
like I collect bottles.
My name is unimportant here.
A royal flush curling
at the corners,
like smoke
from a caterpillar water pipe
or painted rose petals
drying in the sun.
Great,
now I’m late for tea
and tarts-
I’ve lost my sweetheart
and
broken all the looking glasses.

A Deep Thought: Of all my relatives, my friends and I most liked "Uncle Caveman." We called him this because he lived in a cave, and sometimes, he'd eat one of us. Later on, we found out he was a bear.
